About the event
The changing climate has become more apparent in the lives of adults and children alike. With such a complex and misunderstood issue, building the skills to talk with young people about climate change is difficult, but vital to creating a resilient society. The Adirondack Research Consortium, North Country Climate Club, St. Lawrence University, and The Wild Center have partnered to offer a workshop that will provide tools and strategies for anyone seeking to have productive conversations around the climate crisis with young people. The event will include a youth panel, a climate change expert panel, and interactive sessions around communicating climate change.
