Elizabeth W. Thorndike Adirondack Achievement Award

The Elizabeth Thorndike Adirondack Achievement Award is presented annually to an individual who has made outstanding contributions to the long-term sustainability of the Adirondack Park through scholarship, research, and policy leadership. In addition to her distinguished professional career, Liz Thorndike has provided invaluable service to numerous boards. She was instrumental in founding the Adirondack Research Consortium as a respected nonprofit organization and continues to contribute her expertise as a member of the Board of Trustees at Paul Smith’s College.
