Elizabeth W. Thorndike Adirondack Achievement Award
The Elizabeth Thorndike Adirondack Achievement Award is given annually to an individual who has demonstrated significant contributions to the long-term sustainability of the Adirondack Park through scholarship, research, and policy initiatives. Beyond her professional accomplishments, Liz has made significant contributions to various boards. She played a pivotal role in establishing the Adirondack Research Consortium as a reputable not-for-profit organization and currently serves on the Board of Trustees for Paul Smith’s College.
