North Country Climate-Ready Workforce Roundtable​​​​

This interactive roundtable event will bring together educational institutions, state agencies, economic development organizations, businesses, nonprofits, and area students to increase awareness of Adirondack climate resilience workforce needs. The event will include speakers, panels, several facilitated roundtable discussions related to building a climate-ready workforce pathway with diverse partners, and ample time scheduled for networking and tabling during the event.

The Annual Fall Forestry Roundtable is organized in collaboration with the Adirondack Research Consortium and Empire State Forest Products Association. Each year, industry leaders, local foresters, businesses and nonprofit organizations, forest landowners, vocational and higher educational institutions, and NYS agencies come together to share the latest research, training, and trends in sustainable forestry practices in New York State.

The Adirondack Research Consortium's Annual Conference on the Adirondacks is a premiere annual event focused on exploring and addressing critical issues facing the Adirondack region. It serves as a platform for researchers, policymakers, community leaders, and others to share research findings, discuss challenges, and collaborate on solutions.

Each year the Annual Conference serves as a popular networking event for students, scientists, community organizations, local government officials, and state agencies looking to form connections that strengthen data-driven decision making for the region.
