The ARC’s 14th Annual Conference on the Adirondack’s was held May 22nd – May 24th, 2007, in the beautiful confines of the Wild Center in Tupper Lake. Over 175 people attended the conference. They were treated to talks by national, regional, and local experts on the issue of climate change and the important initiative to bridge the gap between science and practical users.
By all measures the conference was a smashing success! The presentations were of the highest caliber and very informative. The Wild Center proved to be an excellent setting for formal presentations by invited speakers and casual informal dialogue among colleagues and friends. It was the general consensus of attendees that the conference was worthwhile and productive.
More information on the 14th Annual Conference on the Adirondacks will follow soon. Meanwhile, enjoy the attached photos provided to us by Jim White, Cornell University Emeritus. If you have photos from the conference you would like to share, send them to us at info@adkresearch.org
